Protecting What Matters Most Starts Here
Life insurance isn’t just about preparing for the end of life. It’s about creating opportunities while you’re living.
I’ve experienced both sides of why financial protection matters.
I lost my mother unexpectedly. The limited coverage she had through a former employer was enough to cover her funeral expenses, but little else. I also experienced the sudden loss of my niece at just 18 years old, without adequate coverage in place.
Those experiences taught me something I’ll never forget: Life doesn’t wait until we’re financially prepared.
But loss isn’t the only reason I’m passionate about life insurance.
As a grandmother, I also think about the opportunities I want my grandchildren to have. College tuition. Their first home. Starting a business. Having a financial foundation that gives them choices instead of limitations.
That’s another side of legacy planning that doesn’t get talked about enough.
Certain life insurance policies, when properly structured and funded, can build cash value that may be accessed during the insured person’s lifetime. Depending on the policy, those funds could potentially help with future educational expenses, major life milestones, or other financial goals.
Protection is important. But so is possibility.
At Set Apart Legacy Group, LLC, my mission is to help families understand both. Whether you’re protecting your income, preparing for the unexpected, or exploring ways to create financial opportunities for the next generation, the right conversation can change how you approach your future.
Because a legacy shouldn’t begin when a life ends.
It should be built intentionally, one decision at a time.
